This study analyzes the authenticity of Pancasila Education assessment supported by Chromebooks in the era of generative artificial intelligence, students’ responses to digital originality checking, and teachers’ strategies for using Originality Reports as learning feedback. A qualitative single-case study was conducted at SMP Negeri 5 Madiun involving ten eighth-grade students and one Pancasila Education teacher selected purposively. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, documentation, and supporting questionnaires, then analyzed using thematic analysis through data condensation, coding, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that most students used internet resources and artificial intelligence as information sources while maintaining relatively positive academic integrity awareness. Digital originality checking helped teachers monitor the authenticity of students’ work and encouraged students to use their own words, although some experienced anxiety regarding similarity results. The study demonstrates that originality checking is more effective when positioned as a pedagogical instrument rather than merely a monitoring tool. The novelty of this study lies in the formulation of the Detect–Dialogue–Revise–Reflect conceptual framework, which utilizes digital originality checking results to facilitate dialogue, encourage revision, and foster student reflection in strengthening academic integrity within Pancasila Education learning.
